Fullscreen Controls in the Android App

VidSwap's new app for Android platform devices allows you to watch or analyze your games while at home or on the go, right from the palm of your hand.  When you choose a game to watch, you'll be launched into the action in a full-screen view.  The controls of your video player are laid out as follows:

  • In flow-based sports like soccer, hockey, or volleyball, the header above the video (from left to right) will allow you an option for going back a step to your previous folder, display of the playlist title of the match you are watching, offer a link for calculating stats for the game you're viewing ('STATS'), and offer a link to do a filter search of the match ('FILTER').
  • In flow-based sports, the video player controls are located on the left and right hand sides of the video.  From top to bottom, those functions include: Play/Pause, +5 sec/-5 sec, and the bottom arrow button switches the Control Bar Location.
  • While the game is paused, you can telestrate on-screen.  These telestrations will not be saved onto the match.

  • In play-based sports like Football and Baseball, the header above the video (from left to right) will allow you an option for going back a step to your previous folder, display the playlist title of the match you are watching, offer a link for calculating stats for the game you're viewing ('STATS'), offer an option to intercut the multi-angle videos (if applicable - 'INTERCUT', which will turn red when this feature is engaged), offer an option to view the current play in a loop ('LOOP', which will turn red when this feature is engaged), and offer a link to do a filter search of the match ('FILTER').
  • In play-based sports, beneath the header above the video, the top of the screen bears an overlay of the data for that play.  You can use your finger to scroll left and right through this information.
  • In play-based sports, the video player controls are located on the left and right hand sides of the video.  From top to bottom, those functions include: Next/Previous Play, Play/Pause, +5 sec/-5 sec, Switch Angle (if applicable), and the bottom arrow button switches the Control Bar Location.
  • While the game is paused, you can telestrate on-screen.  These telestrations will not be saved onto the match.
