Everyone on the Pixellot VidSwap team takes account security very seriously. As such, we are implementing some new upgrades over the next few weeks that will allow us to continue to provide you the tools and secure service you have come to depend upon.
- Updating Passwords - Everyone should be receiving a prompt to select a new password for their login. It's always a good idea to change those from time to time (like batteries in a smoke detector)!
- Login Protocol - Everyone will soon be able to login using your e-mail address (as your username) and your password.
- Guest Accounts - A big change here. Previously, Coaches would create a username and password and hand those credentials out to people to share access to a Guest account. Now, Guests will each need to have a designated e-mail address and will set their own password (just like Athletes).
- We strongly recommend creating new Guest accounts for your guests, rather than continuing to use the existing ones.
In the next couple weeks, the procedure of logging in to VidSwap with a username and password will be replaced with logging in via e-mail address and password.
Okay, cool! So how do I update my login info?
Great question! That will actually happen when you go to login to your VidSwap account. On your web browser, you'll come to one of these two login screens:
Just enter in your new info and you'll be good to go.
In your 'VidSwap' or 'VidSwap Replay' apps, your landing page will look like this:
You can enter in your new info and we'll take care of the rest!
Once your info has been updated, you can login to VidSwap with your e-mail address and password.
